Richard Xia | President

Mr. Xia is a New York City real estate developer and President of Fleet Financial Group, a development and asset management firm exclusively managing real estate assets and developments. He has been active for ten years in land acquisition, commercial and residential development, marketing research, value-added strategies, financing, property management and leasing, and other related activities.His company specializes in “green” projects, and its recently completed “Shangri-La Towers,” an environmentally friendly mixed-use condominium development in Flushing Queens, was honored for “Best New Construction: Contextual Design” by the Queens Chamber of Commerce 97th Building Awards in December 2009. This development not only achieved Green Building standards but is already fully occupied despite the difficult economic conditions of 2009. Mr. Xia earned a BE in Architectural and Civil Engineering and MA and Ph.D candidate in Economics.
